what is ultimate frisbee? 

Ultimate Frisbee (or simply "Ultimate") is a team sport played with 7-a-side (outdoor) or 5-a-side (beach or indoor) teams on a pitch containing two endzones and a play field.

Players are not permitted to run with the disc, but are allowed to pivot (as in basketball) to help make a pass to a teammate. Teams score by passing the disc into the endzone to one of their fellow players.

Ultimate is played by men and women either in Open, Mixed or Womens divisions. The Bournemouth Ultimatum is currently an Open Team but we would like to field a Mixed Team in the future.
