Welcome to The Bournemouth Ultimatum website.
The Bournemouth Ultimatum is a group of Ultimate Frisbee players based in and around Bournemouth, Dorset. We hold regular pick-up sessions on Wednesday evenings, and more serious training sessions on Saturdays. Throughout the year, The Bournemouth Ultimatum attend a variety of fun indoor and outdoor tournaments around the country, as well as the competitive indoor Regionals and summer Tour season.

We recently took on January's cold winds whilst playing Frostbite, a one day beach tournament played at sandbanks. Was great to see a lot of new recruits come out and play their first tournament, and we were able to match last years position of 7th.
TBU took part in several tournaments in the second half of 2011, including Animal Windfest held locally at Sandbanks beach and Skunks Xmas Tournament.

TBU placed 14th out of 16 at Indoor Nationals.
TBU attended the annual Frostbite tournament. In very windy (but dry!) conditions, we finished 7th out of 16. Read the captain's report

TBU sent 2 teams to Indoor Regionals on the 20th November. The 1st team placed third, qualifying for Nationals, and the 2nd team placed tenth.

On the 11th and 12th of September, The Bournemouth Ultimatum ran a BULA-accredited beach ultimate tournament as part of Animal Windfest on Sandbanks beach. The event was a great success and was a great opportunity to showcase Ultimate to the public. This tournament took the place of Sunburn this year due to scheduling conflicts over access to the beach, though we hope to see the return of Sunburn in 2011.
